Budget


You will need to budget $30-$60 per day for a total of $270 to $540. This will include meals that are not included, souvenirs, snacks, and free-time excursions. We assume lunch each day at $15. You can adjust the budget per your eating habits.


**Note: The below is an example of how this tour may run. All times and durations are subject to change, and the order of activities may be switched or substituted as needed based on availability. **


Day 1: Monday, July 10 - Overnight flight to Italy. You will be served a meal on the plane.

$15 - Buy a snack at the airport


Day 2: Tuesday, July 11 - Arrive in Milan | Stop in Verona on the way to Venice. You will be served breakfast on the plane, and dinner is provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 3: Wednesday, July 12 - Sightseeing of Venice | Visit Islands of Murano and Burano | Gondola Ride. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 4: Thursday, July 13 - Transfer to Switzerland via Como | Lake Como Cruise. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 5: Friday, July 14 - Walking tour of Lucerne| Optional Swiss Alps Experience | Optional Swiss Folklore Evening. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 6: Saturday, July 15 - Travel by TGV train to Paris. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 7: Sunday, July 16 - Sightseeing of Paris | Optional Versailles. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 8: Monday, July 17 - Walking tour of Paris | Visit Notre Dame | Visit the Louvre. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.

$25 - Lunch, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Day 9: Tuesday, July 18 - Flight home. Breakfast will be provided.

$30 - Lunch at airport, plus a snack/soda in the afternoon


Total: $220


This budget gives an idea of what to expect, and you and your traveler can use this as an estimated guide for how much money to have available on a credit/debit card. Entrances to all activities listed above are included. Each student’s needs and budget may be different, and you can scale up or down. I plan on budgeting $250-$300 in case I also want to buy some souvenirs. 


FYI - Students can also pack snacks. Granola bars, trail mix, and beef jerky travel well and do not take up much space in a suitcase. Students can also pack a reusable water bottle.
